Download it directly to your phone or computer — then follow the steps below to get it onto your ELEMNT.
How to Import the GPX File to Your Wahoo ELEMNT
Via the Wahoo App (recommended)
This is the easiest method and works for ELEMNT ACE, BOLT 3, and ROAM 3.
- Download the GPX file to your phone
- Open the file from your downloads folder
- When prompted, choose to open it with the ELEMNT app
- The route will import into your Wahoo account automatically
- In the Wahoo app, go to Explore → My Collection → My Routes
- Select the Vätternrundan route and tap Send to ELEMNT
Make sure your ELEMNT is powered on and paired via Bluetooth, and that your phone has an active internet connection so the Wahoo app can process the file.

Via USB (alternative method)
Prefer to do it from your computer?
- Connect your ELEMNT to your computer via USB
- Open the device in your file explorer — it will appear as an external drive
- Navigate to the routes folder
- Copy the GPX file into that folder
- On your ELEMNT, go to the routes page and press Sync to refresh
