Can the new ELEMNT computers be controlled by the ELEMNT Companion app?

​No, the new ELEMNT computers—including the ELEMNT ACE, ROAM 3, and BOLT 3—are not compatible with the legacy ELEMNT Companion app. Instead, they are managed through the updated Wahoo app, which offers an improved interface and expanded functionality for device setup, customization, and syncing. This app allows for streamlined pairing, customizable workout profiles, and seamless integration with third-party services like Strava, Komoot, and TrainingPeaks. The Wahoo app is available for both iOS and Android devices.

Will the new BOLT & ROAM computers work with my existing mounts?

The ROAM 3 is compatible with all legacy ROAM mounts. The BOLT 3 fits BOLT 2 mounts but is incompatible with BOLT 1 mounts due to design changes. The new computers are slightly narrower than legacy models and so may not cosmetically align with the profile of certain aero mounts.
